House rules, lazy style

Terms of Use

Everything you agree to, kept as easy as an 8-iron to the fat part of the green.

Last updated: October 8, 2026

Pieter van Wyk

I don't like complicated. So these terms come on small cards, one rule each. Read them over coffee.

The lazy summary

Who's who

Who am I making this deal with?

With Pieter van Wyk Golf, the brand that runs this site, the books and the membership. Mail me at [email protected].

Your PDF books

Do I get a real book in the post?

No. They're PDF books, sold singly or as a 3-book collection. Nothing is shipped.

Hotmart sends the link by email. Your books are always at consumer.hotmart.com; log in with the email you bought with.

Personal licence: read them, and print a copy for your own use. No sharing, reselling, uploading or copying for others.

Paying safely

Who actually charges my card?

Hotmart. It runs the secure checkout, processes the payment and is the seller of record at checkout.

Use a card, PayPal or Apple Pay. The price is whatever the checkout shows. Hotmart works under its own terms and privacy policy.

The membership

What happens after the free week?

Letters arrive by email: one scoring page a week, and more. Reply any time with a question.

The first 7 days cost nothing. After that, there's a monthly charge until you cancel.

Cancel at consumer.hotmart.com, or email me and I'll help. Cancelling doesn't refund past months.

Easy on the body

Do I need my doctor's OK first?

Golf is physical activity. Talk to your doctor before you take up new exercise. If anything hurts, stop.

This is general golf instruction, not medical advice.

Results vary

Will I break 90 for sure?

I can't promise that. Results vary from person to person, and there's no promise of yards or scores.

About the pictures

Are the photos of Pieter real?

On this site, my pictures are illustrations.

What's mine

Can I copy a page for my four-ball?

Rather not. The books, letters, text and pictures belong to Pieter van Wyk Golf. They're for your personal use.

Limits

Are you liable if a round goes badly?

Where the law allows it, indirect losses aren't my responsibility. In total, my responsibility is capped at what you paid.

None of this removes the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

Changes

Do these terms ever change?

Sometimes. When they do, this page is updated with a new date.
